Dear sisters in ideals:

To consider how much we owe to our predecessors is to also consider the meaning of the commitment implied by the work that begins today in this responsibility, where we are all important and necessary to achieve our objectives.

Success is within ourselves, it must bear the seal of self-correction and discipline and make our aspiration to the highest standard of living of our fellow men. The paths are already laid out, we just have to pay them every day.

I ask the Creator to grant me health, strength and wisdom to work and correspond to the trust of each of you.

The Pan-American movement born in 1916 has taught us that, with enough determination and commitment, extraordinary things can happen, let's make a real difference in the lives of those around us, an optimistic spirit is a moral responsibility.
